REPORT:Signing an MOU at Expo 2025 Osaka, Romanian Pavilion
On October 4, Prof. Makoto Kosaka, President of University of Hyogo, and Prof. Liliana Rogozea, Vice-President of Transilvania University of Brasov, met on the stage of the Romanian Pavilion of Expo 2025 Osaka to formally sign a memorandum of understanding between the two universities.
This is the 6th such agreement concluded with a Romanian university, and this formal signing represents an important step in the development of academic and cultural exchanges between the University of Hyogo, Romania, and by extension, the rest of Europe. The event was organized at the initiative of Mr. Ferdinand Nagy, Commissioner General of Romania at Expo 2025 Osaka, and was attended by Prof. Reiko Sakashita, Vice-President of the University of Hyogo, Prof. Madalina Rucsanda, Dean of the Faculty of Music, Transilvania University of Brasov, and Carmen Tamas, Special Advisor to the President, University of Hyogo.
The event was concluded by a special performance of Romanian classical music led by Dr. Botond Szöcs (piano), lecturer at Transilvania University of Brasov.
