Monsters Re-Visited: The Fantastic Creatures of Japan
We are pleased to announce the publication of a volume on yokai and other fantastic creatures of Japan as a special issue of the ROMANIAN ECONOMIC AND BUSINESS REVIEW, the journal of the Scientific Research Department of the Romanian-American University.
The volume, edited by Professor Carmen Tamas from the School of Economics and Management, is the result of a multidisciplinary international research project, made possible by the kind contribution of artist Adam Cooley, who lent his yokai painting collection for exhibitions at both universities, and the generous support of the alumni association Tansuikai.
The volume includes contributions by renowned scholars, such as Dr. Rebecca Copeland (keynote speaker for the 2024 international symposium which initiated the project) and Dr. Laura Miller, and it can be accessed here:
