Campus Information
The College of Nursing Art and Science, Hyogo opened in April 1993 as the first public nursing college in Japan. A graduate program will open in 1997, coinciding with the graduation of the first class to complete the baccalaureate program. In both the undergraduate and graduate programs, we provide broad based education including research and related subjects as well as nursing courses. We strive to provide a diverse educational experience and to strengthen research in all areas of nursing. By providing a variety of encounters and experiences, we hope to encourage our students to think giobally and act locally.

The college facilities, designed by world famous architect Tadao Ando, support our educational mission. The facilities form a novel learning space in a natural setting where students can enjoy the richness of nature and the changing seasons. This is a perfect environment for stimulating new ideas that assist students aspiring to be nurses to develop their individual talents.
