We hold various events at the Center for Global Engagement during lunchtime, all in English. We play games, take quizzes, watch videos, and discuss many topics. Come and join us!

Wednesday, October 23
We played Taboo, and all of the participants enjoyed it very much. We will certainly play it again. Feel free to join us!
Friday, October 18
We had a Halloween-themed lunch, at which people came in costumes. It was a lot of fun!
Wednesday, October 16
English instructor Roy Obal spoke about himself, his hometown in Australia, and his work at University of Hyogo.
Friday, October 11
We watched Greta Thunberg’s TED talk on student activism and tackling climate change. Then, we discussed what could be done in Japan and by us personally.
Thursday, October 10
The activities began with participants taking a quiz about Hyogo Prefecture. Then, everyone shared what they knew about Hyogo, and we all learned new and interesting things from one another.
Wednesday, October 9
English instructor Robert Dunn gave an entertaining talk about his experiences while studying and working in Canada and Japan. He also shared information about various activities available for students wishing to participate in events aimed at university students.
