Educational about well-being was given in Akashi City.

[Research Institute of Nursing Care for People and Community] 2022.10.29

There is a project In Akashi City called “The Project for Promoting Education of Welfare for Promoting the Understanding of Mental Disabilities”. It is an initiative by the Regional Autonomous Support Conference Living Subcommittee after consignment was received by the Council of Social Welfare.
During this academic year, we have been making efforts to refine educational materials (two different versions; one for children and one for adults) that were created in collaboration between the Akashi City Council of Social Welfare and the Department of Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing at the University of Hyogo, and have been tackling dissemination and enlightenment activities for local residents.

The photos show the welfare education that was performed on October 29, 2022.

Going forward, we would like to continue providing knowledge about mental health to local residents while conducting town-building activities that allow local residents to help each other.
