Graduate School of Applied Informatics strives to produce creative and practical human resources with multiple visions in the field of applied informatics and technologies, who are well equipped with expertise in policymaking, administration, economics, management, medicine, nursing, welfare, safety, or confidence informatics, which is combined with the application of information technologies and systems to provide solutions at everyday workplaces of today and future, and are to be an ideal candidate as an R&D leader or highly-advanced expert.
Particularly, in producing human resources who are readily available at workplaces, we emphasize on educational research scheme where fieldwork is highly valued, and a 4 to 5 week internship at administrative bodies, institutions, corporations or medical institutions is made requirement for all courses; such internship include, "Internship in Policy and Management Informatics", "Internship in Healthcare Informatics", and "Internship in High Confidence Informatics" (2 credits each). |
