An SDGs implementation guide, “Don’t Just Learn, Do”, was created for students of the School of Human Science and Environment to both learn and to put their knowledge into practice.

An SDGs implementation guide was created for students of the School of Human Science and Environment to both learn and to put their knowledge into practice.

This April, the SDGs Promotion Office of the School of Human Science and Environment published a leaflet entitled “SDGs Implementation Guide for Students of the School of Human Science and Environment”.

The guide contains many specific hints on how university students can use SDGs in their daily lives.

When this leaflet was distributed to first-year students who had just entered the university in April, approximately half of the 16 examples of activities noted in the “Perform” category were already being taken by many students.

This means that these students perform the highest number of these activities of all students from year 1 to year 4.

In this manner, taking specific actions for achieving SDGs will help students deepen their understanding of environmental issues, human rights issues, and issues concerning peace.

The SDGs Promotion Office of the School of Human Science and Environment provides planning and support for SDGs activities at the university and also engages in activities for the United Nations Academic Impact.

We are now seeking student members who are interested in SDGs and the activities of the United Nations.
